U2 CAN HAVE FUN LEARNING IN ENGLISH

In the annual Tortosa Irish Festival, www.tortosairishenglishfestoval.com  there is a debate competition between different schools held at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tortosa. Teams compete in several rounds, and the best team progresses until a final winner is chosen.

Our school participates in this tournament and last year, our team won the competition and received a special prize: a one-week trip to Wales.

We stayed in Swansea with host families, attended university classes in the mornings, and took part in activities and trips during the afternoons and weekends. It was a great experience that allowed us to learn more about English, Welsh culture and traditions.
