Leisure: The famous monument in Bristol is without any doubt, The Clifton Bridge Suspension, a bridge that arises upon the Avon river. From there, we can see all the neighbourhoods of the city.

Near the bridge there is a fantastic landscape of the mansion of Ashton Court that was constructed in s.XV and in it, the Smythe Family lived 500 years ago. Nowadays teenagers go to play different sports in the gardens of that Court. During the summer, they celebrate The Ballon Festival ( a famous event that is a contest of ballons) and they also celebrate a musical festival: The Ashton Court Music Festival.

In Bristol we can find a lof of cinemas in different parts of the city, because it always rains so people go to indoors places. If you want to see a film in another language you must go to The Watershed, that is a little cinema, but very good in sound and atmosphere. And you can also find an Eyemax (a cinema of 3D)

Shopping: Bristol is also famous for its variety of shops. In Clifton, (the richest part of Bristol), there are a lot of little and elegant shops. There, you can find The Bristol Arcade, with a lot of different things like: paints, birthday supplements and ancient jewellery. In White Ladies Road and Park Street where you can find one of the most famous shops: The Bristol Guild. But, Park Street is better for the students because you can find alternative fashion clothes. In the center and in Corn Street you can see St. Nicholas Market, where you can buy fresh food.

Nevertheless, if you want to go to big shops of different brands, you must go to the commercial center of Broadmead where you can find everything you are looking for and it always has a good atmosphere.

To dance: The most well-known and commercial discotheques are: The Lizard Lounge where there is always a lot of people, Wedgies where a lot of Bristol people go and The Fez Club and The Bristol Academy.
