One Day in Barcelona 

  • On setembre the 9th we whent to Barcelona to have a cultural visit of the city.
  • We had to arrived to Castelldefels station at 9 o'clock in the morning, because the Carlos and Toni two of our teachers were waiting us there.
  • The firts we visited was "La Casa Batlló, then we went to "La Pedrera", and finally before lunch, we saw "La Sagrada Família".
  • We went to visit "El Parc Güell" and we ate there, and after lunch we saw "El Barri Gòtic" it is the antic part of the city.

 La Casa Batlló

 The first that we visited was "La Casa Batlló", a building of Gaudí. The front wall of the building seems to be a dragon and it is very nice to see it. Then we went inside and we saw the different colours of the windows and just the hall, because there are people living there so they didn't allow us to go up stairs.

The most funny of the visit was that while we were waiting out of the house there were some women selling flowers and while one of them sells you a flower the other steel you the purse. Frederick that was always joking decided to go between to the group of the women to see if something happened, but they didn't steal him

 

 After the visit to "La Casa Batlló" we went to "La Pedrera", that is another important building of Gaudí. There we saw many things. Fisrt of all, we saw a flat with the typical decoration of the beginnings of the 20th century. Secondly, we went up to the at there was a little museum of Gaudí. And finally the group went out into the balcony that is very different to the other balconies because this had a lot of strange sculptures, sorrounded it.

 In the balcony, we took many photos but without any doubt the best one was a picture of Imma with Frederick.

  La Sagrada Família

 Then we took the tube and went to see "La Sagrada Família" that is an unfinished churc, of the same architecture of the other buildings.

We saw a big exposition, we went to the church and then went up stairs to one of the towers (300 steps) more o less. When we went down, all of us were exhausted, and rested for a little in the entrance of the church, but we weren't alona, there was a group of pigeons, and one of them accidentally did some "pupu" on Carolinas head.

After Carolina got clean and we had rested for a while, we went to buy our food to Mc Donald's or somewhere like that to eat it in a beautiful park.

 After Sagrada Familia we went to "Parc Güell". When we arrived to Parc Güell all the people went to relax to a calm zone to eat their lunch. actually, the visit to the park was a visit dedicated to rest. We had a free time around half an hour. When or time was finished we went down to the park, while we were walking down we could see the pretty and enormaus park. When we arrived down the park, there was a beautiful fountain with a scuplture. This escuplture was a loloured lizard. We were ready to leave the park when suddently we remember thet we missed someone, but who? Louis again!  Parc Güell

 While we were waiting for her, Shelley and Jorge initiated a WATER WAR! in the end of the war almost all the people were wet, but specially the two initiators. Finally, Louis arrived and we left the park.
  

 Barri Gòtic

 That was the last visit but maybe the weariest because we had walk so much. Moreover we were exhausted after all the day, but anyway we enjoyed this visit, too. In this visit we walked through the Barri Gòtic. It is the antique suburb. we visited many churches and the cathedral of Barcelona. Also, could see some little ruins, romanic columns. In this visit another pigeon dropped something above Alex. Afetr that visit we had some free time to walk around "Las Ramblas" ad next we took the train back home.
